About Miss Carmen

I am very excited to offer a high quality music education, because I understand the importance of music education in early childhood development. Involvement in music early in life will improve children’s academic performance and help advance their social skills. It also refines discipline and patience and introduces children to other cultures. My goal is to help your children to realize their music potential and provide an exciting learning experience that will help enhance and nurture a lifelong love of music.

Why Music?

There is overwhelming evidence from both psychology and anthropology that involvement in music early in life makes children better learners later in life.

“Music lessons have been shown to improve a child’s performance in school. After eight months of keyboard lessons, preschoolers tested showed a 46% boost in their spatial IQ, which is crucial for higher brain functions such as complex mathematics.”
